What happens when you ask DanceTV’s core team to make a selection of their favorite videos of the past year?
This special issue of our newsletter is here to answer this question to kill all your doubts, hopefully showing you some of the best content you’ve missed in the meanwhile.
Let the party begin!

Situated in one of my favourite cities in Europe, Berlin, the Ritter Butzke crew has filmed many stellar artists in spectacular locations in 2021. The video of Steve Bug is close to my heart as I have always enjoyed his blend of (mostly) House music and great sense of timing, while DJing.
As my second choice is a must see Phaex Festival announcement video- a collaboration between Beatport and Dance TV- with Nastia's original unreleased tracks. You could really not go wrong here!
Furthermore supporting the Underground has always been one of my life missions. Im really happy to promote Deep House Tehran's founder Nesa Azadikhah's video produced by Train Movement (Iran). It stands out - the raw landscape of ancient Persia combined with the deep house sounds of Nesa's selection definitely make a groovy combination.
Last but not least I admire the professionalism and outstanding organisation and determination of Joe T Vanelli and his crew. Filming a video in a different location in Italy every week (!) since the start of the pandemic is really wow! Mountaintops, museums, castles and .. this one is from the Dolomiti mountains! Spectacular views!

Based in Tulum, Mexico Ephimera have proven to be a tiger of a creator- producing several shows a week. I really like their Savage & She video!
Next choice: Chef Lopez and Fatima Hajji together cooking? Yes, please! - fun to watch and powerful techno it is!
And Time:Code videos are always a journey, polished and smooth creations like my favourite of 2021 with Woo York. I'm very pleased to work with them!
Last but not least -once in a blue moon appears a one off production that stands out and the Mas Amor Por Favor video of Milou is the one for me in the past year, no doubt!

Cologne based Freunde Legen Auf collective have invited many artists from the underground dance music scene to their rooftop for guest appearances at the start of the pandemic. For the dope music and really professional camera work and postproduction I chose not one, but two of their videos- the BlackM1D1 and Alex New videos are my favourites.
An unforgettable one from 2021 is also Hosh at Avala Tower by Time:Code. Definitely one of my favourite creators!
And my final choice is the Hot Oasis video from St. Catherine in Egypt by Playstream- watch it and you will know why.

We have come a long way since the start of the pandemic and we definitely noticed last years upgrade as creators and artists started exploring non conventional ideas and ways to make content attractive without a dancing crowd. Dance TV works with many talented videographers and world class artists so there is a lot to choose from, still some of last years videos stand out and Ill gladly watch them again and again. Clearly a favourite is the Stephan Jolk performing in front of the Duomo cathedral video. A stunning high end polished video production in the center of Milan, Italy.
Secondly I am extremely pleased with our collaboration with Radio Intense. Their content is appealing and interesting as they publish their own as well as external videos. I was very happy to see Space Motion filmed at an event in Serbia coming through.
Moving on to Germany- Pacha Munich club has been the host of many fantastic shows of great house and tech house legends, with no exception of the mysterious Claptone, which filmed with 8+ cameras rocks the dancefloor even without a crowd.
Last but not least our NYC based Mind-Matter creator has been extremely active in 2021 premiering melodic tech videos from all across the globe every Sunday on Dance TV FB and Youtube. Not an easy choice here, but the live act of Ran Salman filmed by the turquoise Dead Sea in Israel is definitely one for the books!
That’s all folks,
We hope you enjoyed our selection “best of 2021”.
Now roll on 2022!
